I came to Meta weighing 195 pounds. I'm 6 feet tall and certainly didn't look like it but I was sick of feeling out of shape and wanted to return to my weight when I first met my husband, which was 173 pounds. I began training with her July 1st and by July 24, I weighed 180 lbs. I would like to point out that I did not cheat once on my eating plan, attended all my workout sessions, and did my homework each day. If you follow Meta's instructions to the letter, you will see results. Meta is a wonderful and empathetic trainer. I had old knee and shoulder injuries, and she worked around them by modifying specific exercises so that I would still be able to work those areas. If I told her that an exercise bothered one of the areas, she immediately stopped and switched it. I have had trainers who subscribe to the "No pain, no gain" theory, and hated it. Meta has the right balance of pushing her clients to do more (without screaming like a boot camp instructor) and listening to her clients' needs. She also helped greatly with starting a food program, although she is not a dietician.  |

You and your baby will love this water workout. This action-packed aqua class lets you exercise in the water with your baby at your side. Mom focuses on aerobic conditioning and muscle strengthening while baby has floating fun! Flotation seats are provided for babies. What to bring: Towels, swim diapers for baby, bottle of water. Baby Age: sitting without assistance to 24 months

Mom and Baby Pilates
Get your tummy back into shape and build core strength. Based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates, this class strengthens abdominal muscles, increases circulation, develops muscle strength, increases flexibility, improves balance and coordination, helps with relaxation and teaches deep breathing techniques. Throughout the class, you'll have the option of involving your baby in the movements or having your baby close to you on your mat. You don't need previous Pilates experience to join this class. ** If your child is older than the recommended age and you have childcare options, please feel free to join us for this class without your baby.
